On 14 August 2005 the first fishing tackle shop opened in Liskeard - Fishing Mayhem. It is a family run business, Alex and Trevor Smith identified a need and created a business to fill it - both keen fishermen with a vast amount of local knowledge and fishing experience. The business vision was to provide a well stocked resource for anglers as well as provide friendly, knowledgeable, professional advice. The shop itself was fairly limited in space, every part of the store was taken up with as much choice as possible. It soon became popular for anglers from all over the central belt of Devon and Cornwall borders and beyond, with friendly and helpful customer service and knowledgeable team members. Fishing Mayhem's internet order business started here, it was a great success and Fishing Mayhem despatch parcels daily to the UK and globally.

Alex, Ellis, Emma, Trevor and Ann worked tirelessly to ensure that the store and internet order business grew, soon more space was necessary and very quickly Fishing Mayhem had to expand to new premises to accommodate the product expansion as well as providing suitable storage for the internet orders.

In 2012 the current Fishing Mayhem store was opened, situated on the outskirts of the town centre of Liskeard the business now has a large team for sales and customer support.

Fishing Mayhem continues to grow from strength to strength and we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality, price and service.
